Avalanche Canada will begin forecasting for the Haines Pass beginning March 1st. Our forecast page will link to theirs.
We are currently issuing weekly General Avalanche Information, Weather Forecast, and Season Summary products on Saturday at 6 am along with encouraging Observations and avalanche sightings from the public. Keep track of local weather stations via the Weather Station Map and watch the Haines Precip Tracker as storms roll in.
Our Haines Borough FY25 Non-Profit Grant application was approved in the amendment vote by the Haines Borough Assembly on March 25th.
