General Observations

We toured up moonlight basin to around 3200′ elevation.  On a south west aspect we found wind loaded features failed easily under the weight of a skier.  WE found CTH down 30cm within storm snow with resistant planar fracture characteristic, There was no propagation on the extended column test.  WE observed active wind transport near ridgelines, loading the southern aspects.  variable snow depths from a few inches to a few feet.
