General Observations
Skied Ripinksy today, then back down the Skyline trail. 60-90 of snowpack up above 2000ft, consisting of two soft layers (old snow from last week with 50-60cm of new pow on top). Skiing was good above 2000ft. Some rime crust and a little whumphing / settling in the new snow. It was a whiteout so we stuck to the trees.
Below 2000ft, there is no base beneath the new snow, so it's tough going. Once this new snow settles it will be a good base for future storms and the Lutak zone will be in!
