General Observations
Took a look at the mountains around town this morning. Elevations between 1500-5000ft had a big avalanche cycle yesterday. Most crowns are around 1m thick and are extensive, filling wide basins. Mostly recent snow coming down I believe, but stepped down to midpack layers in some places. Lots of D3's. Nearly every slope I observed had a large avalanche on it. Witches Tit has an impressive one. Clearly it was quite unstable this weekend, and will remain that way until temperatures cool down. This may be a good "reset" in the long term, but we're not there yet, so it's still advisable to stay out of all avalanche terrain.
