Last week, winter snuck nearly 2 feet of new snow in the upper mountains. This week, sunshine looks to usher in spring. Daytime temperatures will climb to the upper 40’s through the week. Our spring shed hasn’t begun quite yet, but strong solar radiation may start it. Backcountry users should be wary of sun baked slopes during the heat of the day.
