General Observations

Toured up the shoulder to Skate Park. Along the way observed crowns from storm slabs on NE shots from Little Girls. On the approach, dug a quick pit before it got steeper at 4179ft (1247m) on a 31degree SE slope. CT22 Q2 on the new snow, sun crust interface. At the entrance to Skate Park dug another quick pit at 4747ft (1447m) on 18degree N slope. CT19 Q3 on the new snow, old snow interface. Observed recent avalanche activity from ridge on skiers right of Skate Park as well as a D1 off a convexity just above what appeared to be a Heli pick up zone.
