General Observations

Route: Skinned up Michaels Creek to top of the headwall. Bootpacked on SW aspect to 6800'. Skid down NW aspect

Observations: Plenty of old avalanches in Michael's Creek, non appeared to be recent as the debris was covered in drifted snow with no recent wind. 

Snow up headwall was 4" to 6" powder over a hard base,  with isolated sections of wind crust. Thin and faceted snow bootpacking up to 6800'. 

Weather: Awesome hot bluebird day, temperatures between 15-25 (F). Wind 2-3 knots (forecast), felt like 0.
