General Observations

1. Dug on a N asp at 3800’ above Chillkat Lake. My pit was 130cm deep. 45cm of recent soft surface snow is sitting on 70 cm’s of four finger 1mm facets. Great structure in this zone. CT score of 27 – BRK – down 50 cm’s. ECTX. HS was 370. No signs of recent avy activity. No signs of instability under foot, we skied multiple runs in this zone this morning. Great skiing at and below tree line today. We also skied multiple runs above Little Salmon lake, popping of pillows and small drops with no avy activity and saw no signs of recent avy’s.
