General Observations
- Warm morning, -1 C at 35 mile at 0800hrs. Broke the trail into Flower, the sled necks weren’t too far behind once I got to the top. Naturals up to size 2 on all aspects below tree line. Did not see any activity above tree line. Probed 335 cm’s at 780M elevation. By 1300hrs the sky was clearing and temps were dropping. Observed widespread surface hoar 3-5mm (01.20.20) on all aspects above and below tree line. I believe the 12.31.20 surface hoar layer is dormant in the ALP but could wake up with any significant warming. Test cut many small unsupported slopes today with no reactivity.
- What a friggin winter we’re having!
