General Observations

Tsaina Valley northwest of hoodoo creek confluence up to 3600’  NE-SE/ Clear/ Calm 

Shooting cracks: No

Collapsing: No

Avalanches: Yes, Old D1-2 natural wet loose off steep solar aspects.

Found a trace of snow on a breakable melt freeze crust on southeast aspects up to 3600’.  On east through northeast found 15-20 cms of storm snow that was bonded well.  Stability tests at 2800’ on a SE aspect and at 3600’ on a E-NE aspect, both produced no results at the 3/3 buried surface hoar layer down 40 cms.  In both locations this layer was rounding and laid over.  The new snow old snow interface produced ECTN14+15 down 15 cms.
