Recent Weather

We received a couple inches of snow last night with moderate to strong winds loading western aspects. More snow is expected, though weather models struggle with how much. We may see another 6 to 10 inches Friday into Saturday. Avalanches are not expected to affect the highway yet. Backcountry users should avoid steep wind loaded slopes at tree line and above. The avalanche hazard will increase if significant snow accumulates.
