Recent Weather

We’ve had a week of dry cold weather. Strong northerly outflow winds shifted the avalanche hazard from western aspects to southern slopes. Backcountry users should be wary of isolated wind slabs above tree line.

The weather pattern will start to change this next week, bringing increasing temperatures and precipitation. The avalanche hazard will probably increase then.
