Tuesday night, ¾ inches of water brought 10 inches of snow above 1500 feet. Moderate east wind loaded western aspects. Weather dried out Wednesday, allowing snow stability to increase. Dry weather looks to continue through Friday. Avalanche activity is not expected to affect the highway. Backcountry users should be wary of isolated wind slabs on western aspects above tree line. The avalanche hazard may increase Saturday.
