Predominant SE winds have picked up and are steadily drifting snow and loading it onto lee aspects: northerly and westerly. As the large volume of storm snow continues to build, recall the variety of surfaces that existed prior to this storm: ice crusts, wind slab, surface hoar, near surface facets. Many of these surfaces can lead to easily triggered avalanches in steep and unsupported terrain. Monitor the sensitivity of new snow before committing.
