Recent Weather

Last Tuesday brought another 18 inches of snow above 1000 feet with light east wind. Conditions have since become mostly clear with light northerly wind. Some small shallow avalanches have been triggered by sun, wind, and human activity. Otherwise, stability has increased with time.

Expect clear, calm weather through Tuesday. The avalanche hazard should continue to decrease through that time. The latter half of the week looks to bring increasing snow. The avalanche hazard will probably increase by next weekend.
