Weather

The snow machine is ON and winter is here. December has brought around 40″ of new snow down to sea level, with a lot more in the forecast for the next week. 

Expect around 4-6″ additional snow today, with a break on Friday, and a few more inches Saturday-Sunday. A strong storm is likely on Monday the 23rd with heavy accumulations.

Additional Information

Start the season with fresh batteries in your beacon. Do a beacon check with your partners at the trailhead to ensure everyone is beeping and familiar with their equipment. Do a rescue practice / beacon practice at home. ALWAYS wear a beacon, shovel, and probe, and KNOW HOW TO USE THEM!
