A warm, wet, windy storm will quickly move in Sunday night. Models suggest 2 inches of water tonight into Wednesday. The freezing line looks to climb above 2000 feet Monday, then decrease as the storm wanes Tuesday night. Strong wind will move available snow towards western aspects. A suspect weak layer exists at a previous crust around a foot deep. Expect avalanche activity at tree line and above. At this time, our relatively shallow snowpack should keep any activity from affecting the highway.
