Last week we received over 5 inches of water, with the freezing line fluctuating between 1000 and 3000 feet. Some avalanche activity occurred. Cold dry weather has since allowed the snowpack to drain and stabilize.

Expect mostly dry weather until Thursday. Heavy precipitation will probably increase the avalanche hazard by Friday.
