The last few days brought light to moderate precipitation and a freezing line between tree line and the peaks. This has kept the snowpack mushy around mid-mountain, and the avalanche hazard in question. Quiet weather Sunday let snow stability slowly increase.

Expect mostly dry weather to continue into Thursday. Clear skies will promote colder temperatures, allowing the snowpack to refreeze and the avalanche hazard to decrease.
